Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Amy Hitshew PA-C is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant. She attended the University of Wyoming where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She worked as a nurse for eight years before going to medical school at the University of North Dakota where she obtained certification as a Physician Assistant.

Amy has worked in all areas of orthopedics and is proficient in the treatment of orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, hand/upper extremity, foot and ankle, total joints and spine. She has divided her time between seeing patients in the clinic and assisting surgeons in the OR.

Amy has been practicing for 20 years as a Physician Assistant. Providing excellent care for her patients is of paramount importance to her. You will immediately appreciate her knowledge base and the genuine and sincere care that she provides.

Amy provides services at the Aspen Mountain Medical Clinic at Lander and at Aspen Mountain Medical Center in Rock Springs.
