Aspen Mountain Medical Center Now In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Cigna

Aspen Mountain Medical Center (AMMC), an acute-care hospital located at 4401 College Drive in Rock Springs, has announced that it is now an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Cigna, two of the region’s largest health service and insurance companies. The hospital’s in-network status took full effect on October 1, 2016, and will make its comprehensive services more accessible to area residents.

“It is our goal at Aspen Mountain Medical Center to become a trusted medical home for all residents of Rock Springs and the surrounding area,” said Steve Perry, CEO, AMMC. “Becoming an in-network provider with major insurance providers like Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna is a key part of reaching that goal, because obtaining in-network status means more people can easily take advantage of the high-quality, affordable services offered here.”

AMMC is a physician-owned facility that currently offers comprehensive services in multiple specialties, including general surgery, orthopaedics, hand surgery, total joint replacement, spine, urology, ENT, pain management, gastroenterology, internal medicine, gynecology, oral surgery and family practice. This diverse set of specialties, coupled with the recent network designation, makes AMMC a uniquely inclusive hospital that provides an option for Rock Springs residents so that they don’t have to travel great distances for exceptional care.

In addition to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Cigna, AMMC is currently in-network with First Choice of the Midwest, First Health Network and WISE Network, and is also working on agreements with UnitedHealthcare, which includes UMR.
