Physician Assistant

Dan Pedersen, P.A., is a trusted member of the Hunter Family Medical Clinic team and also serves as a hospitalist at Aspen Mountain Medical Center, where he delivers comprehensive care to patients during hospital stays. With a background rooted in health education and prevention, Dan brings a whole-person approach to every patient interaction.

• Pediatric & adolescent care
• Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
• Women’s & men’s health
• Minor procedures & injury care
• Immunizations & health education

Dan earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Wyoming and completed his Physician Assistant training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dan is passionate about helping individuals make informed health choices, manage chronic conditions, and maintain active, fulfilling lifestyles.

Dan has proudly called Rock Springs home for over six years, where he lives with his wife, three children, and their dog. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, hiking, biking, and playing disc golf — always finding time to enjoy the great outdoors with his family.
