General Surgeon

Dr. Franks is a Board-Certified General Surgeon who has been serving Southwest
Wyoming since 2007. Dr. Franks was born and raised in Idaho on a cattle ranch his
family homesteaded over 100 years ago. He graduated from Ross University with
honors and served his first month of residency in New York City during 9/11, before
finishing residency in Saginaw, MI in 2007. In 2020, he felt there was more to health
and wellness than western medicine provided, sparking an interest in Functional
Medicine. He has been pursuing both a board certification and fellowship in Functional
Medicine to better the community he serves. Dr. Franks performs surgery at Aspen
Mountain Medical Center.
