Family Practitioner

Dr. Hunter is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a passion for educating patients and promoting long-term health. He brings over two decades of experience caring for individuals and families throughout Sweetwater County. He runs his own family practice and also provides hospitalist services at Aspen Mountain Medical Center.

Dr. Hunter earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Brigham Young University, followed by a Ph.D. from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He went on to complete a three-year residency in Family Practice at the University of Wyoming Family Practice Residency Program in Casper.

In 2000, Dr. Hunter founded Hunter Family Medical Clinic, where he continues to provide comprehensive, relationship-based care with a focus on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management.
